The Diamond House
The Diamond House by Formwerkz Architects, which is located in Singapore, has been described by the firm as a monolith. And that’s certainly accurate, as the smaller footprint widens out into a larger, massive structure.
The most amazing thing, though, is how airy it is inside. It looks as it does from the front to preserve the privacy of the family, but there are plenty of windows facing the man-made lake behind the house, and the inside is intricate but open, and the spaces flow naturally.
I love how the pool is at the same level of the main floor, but there’s still a visual connection to the outdoors from the basement:
But I really think that one of my favorite parts of this home, though, is the underground garage:
