Pablo Picasso’s Home: For Sale
Pablo Picasso’s final home and studio is located in picturesque Mougins, France, and is back on the market at a mere $220 million. Picasso spent the last 12 years of his life on the hilltop of Notre-Dame-de-Vie in a stone villa that has since been renamed Domaine L’Antre du Minotaure, or Lair of the Minotaur.
The villa features 10 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, 2 swimming pools, and approximately 2.600 sq. ft. in the main house, plus a guest house and guard house.
The home was underwent a restoration by the Belgian art dealer who purchased it a few years back. But even with its rich history, I’m not sure the home, which is now priced at about 18 times its previous sale price, will have many buyers.
