I’m a sucker for doll houses.
I can’t help it. I love all things tiny and cute and adorable.
But these doll houses are really something special: they’ve all been created by architects and designers. They’re like vibrant, playful, exciting versions of architectural models.
A Doll’s House is a competition of 20 architects and designers who constructed doll houses for the 21st century. The doll houses will be auctioned off for charity. All proceeds support KIDS.
I would love just about any of them in my house, and I think my kids would, too. Here are a few of my favorites:
See all the doll houses (and bid on them until November 11, 2013) at A Doll’s House Gallery.

Gianni Versace’s extravagant mansion in Miami Beach will be going up for auction on September 17th. It’s 23,462 square feet of gold-gilded opulence, but can you afford the price tag of $25 million?
Well, actually, that’s just the starting bid…
The good news is, even if you don’t have that kind of money buried in your couch cushions, you can still check out the 10 bedroom, 11 bathroom manse, complete with 54-foot pool via virtual tour on Buzzfeed.
Or, check it out on Zillow, which features over 20 photos.
More good news? Zillow estimates the rent to be $36,998/mo. Much more affordable than $25 mil.
