Beautiful Lennar Homes in Sonoma Mesa

I love these homes by Lennar in Sonoma Mesa, a community in San Antionio, TX.

The golf course community features brick hillside homes mostly over 3,000 square feet.

Here are some of my favorite photos:

Home Alone’s Home Decor

Home Alone's Home Decor from Joss & Main

Joss & Main is currently featuring a home decor collection inspired by the classic Christmas movie Home Alone.

The collection mirrors the furniture, decor, and thematic elements found in the movie.

It brought a smile to my face.

Minecraft Furniture?

piccadilly boca do lobo furniture

Well, I saw this armoire and all of my preconceived notions of furniture suddenly exploded.

This limited edition piece is the Piccadilly Cabinet from Boca do Lobo.  The designers celebrate how they played with architecture, perspective and impossible spaces to create this phenomenon and its “dichotomy between modernity and tradition, just like the famous Piccadilly Circus, in London.”

My first impression, though, was that it resembled an 8-bit video game.

I found myself pulled in by the combinations of emerald green and bright gold.  By the movement of the piece.  It’s a spectacular accomplishment to create a piece like this that is so alive, and yet so functional, too.

But I don’t know if I’d be able to put it in my home.  Honestly, I think I’d be disappointed every time I opened it and didn’t find Narnia behind the doors.

Or at least Mario and a few mushrooms.

Kohler Kitchen Sinks in Bold Colors

The sight of this sink made me drool…..

Well, not literally.  Emotionally.  Emotional drool.

I have an affinity for light blue decor and when I saw this Palermo Blue sink, my subconscious shouted, “I must have this in my kitchen!”

How about you?  Would you love to have one of these enameled cast iron Jonathan Adler kitchen and bathroom sinks in your home?  Would you put it in the kitchen or bath?  Would you ever put your dirty dishes in it or would you just stare at it for inappropriately long periods of time?

Not a fan of Palermo Blue?  That’s okay.  The sinks are also available in Greenwich Green, Piccadilly Yellow, and Annapolis Navy.
